Gainesville Drain Field refers requests to local septic pros. It is not the business that shows up to do the job.

The information involved
- What you enter in the contact or request form: name, phone, email, the service selected and your message. The consent you gave is stored too, including the version of the wording and the time.
- Website chat: each message you send and each automated reply is saved with your IP address and browser details. The session ID lives in your browser's session storage and is not an advertising cookie.
- Telephone: when you call (352) 450-5990 we note your caller ID, the time and the call length. The greeting warns that calls may be recorded. Answered calls may be recorded, and voicemail is converted to text.
- Our server keeps basic logs of each visit (page, IP address, referrer, browser). Google Fonts delivers the fonts, so Google sees your IP address too. We do not use tracking pixels for advertising.
What we do with it
We read your request, connect it with local septic pros who may be able to help, and answer your questions.
Other uses: recording your consent, stopping spam and bots, and improving how the site works.
Sharing
Each request is forwarded to up to three local septic pros, with your name, phone, email and message.
The pros are not part of this site. Their own privacy practices apply to what they hold.
Hosting, call and text delivery, email and the chat's AI model are provided by outside companies that handle information for us as necessary to do their jobs.
We will disclose information if legally required, and when needed to handle fraud, abuse or security threats.
We may receive payment from pros for referred requests or calls. Some state laws treat that as a sale of personal information, and the state section below explains your options.
Texts, calls and email
The consent box you ticked allows up to three pros to call, text and email you about your request, including by automated means.
Agreeing is optional, and standard message and data rates may apply.
Send STOP to end texts from a sender, or HELP for assistance. Each sender must be told separately.
Retention
We keep chat logs, call logs and website visit logs for 24 months, and then erase them.
Requests and the record of your consent are kept for 5 years, which lets us show that you consented, and are then deleted or stripped of identifying details.
You can ask us to erase yours sooner.
Keeping information safe
We use appropriate measures to secure the information we hold.
No website or storage system is completely secure, and we are unable to promise otherwise.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for adult visitors, not children under 13.
If a child has sent us information, tell us and we will erase it; we do not collect it on purpose.
Access, correction and deletion
You may ask to see, fix or erase your information, or to stop us sharing it with pros.
